A\u00f1orando el buen tiempo que no acaba de llegar a Madrid, nos han entrado ganas de revisar y llevar a cabo uno de nuestros proyectos favoritos y que por distintas circunstancias aun no hemos podido materializar… pero que de este a\u00f1o no pasa…<\/p>\n

Se llama Pescando en luz<\/strong><\/a><\/span> y <\/strong>lo ideamos para el jard\u00edn del Victoria & Albert Museum<\/a> de Londres. Finalmente llevamos a cabo otra pieza Sombras de Museo<\/a>, bastante m\u00e1s truculenta y acorde con los sentimientos contradictorios que sentimos al estar en un espacio tan m\u00edtico, pero tan fuera de nuestro contexto natural.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed contamos, hace ya mucho tiempo, la idea:
\n\u00abEl proyecto Pescando en luz quiere convertir un espacio al aire libre en un lugar m\u00e1gico y misterioso, en el que los visitantes puedan pescar de noche, rodeados de reflejos de luz y brillantes colores de pl\u00e1stico.<\/em>Para ello, se colgar\u00e1n unos 200 objetos de pl\u00e1stico de uso dom\u00e9stico de muy variadas formas y con llamativos colores, que llenaremos de agua e iluminaremos desde abajo y desde el interior para que la luz envuelva y traspase los recipientes, convirtiendo el espacio en un mundo de destellos de colores creados con recipientes y agua.<\/em>Dentro de los recipientes, colocaremos peque\u00f1os juguetes de cuerda que nadar\u00e1n sobre el agua, agit\u00e1ndola de manera que las ondas de agua iluminada, proyecten en el recinto, haces de luz que se vibran suavemente, al comp\u00e1s del movimiento de los juguetes.
\nPara interactuar con los transe\u00fantes, se repartir\u00e1n peque\u00f1as ca\u00f1as de juguete con los que podr\u00e1n pescar los objetos que flotan en el agua\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ahora, queremos revisar el proyecto y sacarlo al espacio p\u00fablico y hacer de \u00e9l una pieza participativa, en la que los vecinos nos presten sus recipientes de pl\u00e1stico de colores de uso cotidiano, y que nosotros se los llenaremos de luz y de pececitos para recrear un lago nocturno, multicolor e iluminado.<\/p>\n

Nos gustar\u00eda llevarla a cabo en la plaza de alg\u00fan pueblo o en un barrio popular de una gran ciudad, con la idea de que ni\u00f1os y mayores disfruten de una noche de pesca comunitaria.<\/p>\n

Al terminar la noche, cada recipiente, retornar\u00e1 a su due\u00f1o y a su casa, pero ahora ser\u00e1 m\u00e1gico, porque llevar\u00e1 una luz en su interior y por supuesto, todo lo pescado.<\/p>\n

Longing for the good times which have not come to Madrid, we have the desire to revise and carry out one of our favorite projects which for different circumstances we have not been able to perform\u2026 but that will not happen this year\u2026<\/p>\n

It is called Fishing in light<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>and we designed it for the garden in the Victoria & Albert Museum<\/a> in London. In the end we did another piece called Museum Shadows, Rather more truculent and in line with the mixed feelings that we had about being in such a mythical place, but so out of our natural context.<\/p>\n

This is how we explained the idea so long ago:
\n\u201cThe project Fishing in light is designed to convert an outdoor space into a mysterious and magical place, in which visitors can fish at night, surrounded by reflections of \u00a0light and bright colored \u00a0plastic. To do this, about 200 domestic use plastic objects in a variety of forms and striking colors will be\u00a0 hung, that we will fill with water and iluminate from below and from inside so that the light fills and passes through the containers, converting the space into a world of flashes of colors created by containers and water. Within the containers, we will place small mechanical toys that will swim on the water, moving it in such a way that the illuminated waves of water will \u00a0project gently vibrating beams of light into the compound, to the rhythm of the movement of the toys.<\/em>
\nTomake it interactive for those who pass by, small toy fishing poles will be distributed with which they can fish for the objects floating in the water\u201d.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

Now, we want to revise the project and bring it to the public space as a participative piece, in which the neighbors lend us their colored, everyday use plastic containers, which we will fill with light and small fish to recreate a multicolored and illuminated nocturnal lake.<\/p>\n

We would like to carry it out in the plaza of a town or in a popular neighborhood in a big city, with the idea that children and adults can enjoy a night of community fishing.<\/p>\n

At the end of the night, each container, will be returned to its owner and its home, but now it will be magical, because it will have a light in its interior and of course, all the fish.<\/p>\n
