href=\"http:\/\/www.europapress.es\/deportes\/olimpiadas-00169\/noticia-blanco-coi-no-corre-ningun-riesgo-economico-si-da-juegos-madrid-20130320191857.html\">la visita del Comit\u00e9 Ol\u00edmpico Internacional<\/a> a Madrid, para evaluar la<a href=\"http:\/\/www.publico.es\/deportes\/452223\/el-coi-visita-madrid-entre-huelgas-y-protestas\"> \u00absituaci\u00f3n\u00bb <\/a>de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebelion.org\/noticia.php?id=165520\">nuestra<\/a> ciudad como candidata a organizar los Juegos del 2020, nos echamos a la calle con nuestras luces, para manifestar nuestro rechazo a convertirnos en sede de este\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/espana\/2013\/03\/24\/seis-razones-de-peso-por-las-que-madrid-no-deberia-organizar-los-juegos-olimpicos-117444\/\">evento de la verg\u00fcenza<\/a>, que no s\u00f3lo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madridmemata.es\/2012\/05\/jjoo-coste-ruina-madrid-2020\/\">no va a reportar ning\u00fan beneficio econ\u00f3mico a los ciudadanos<\/a>, (s\u00ed a los empresarios del ladrillo), sino que adem\u00e1s va a provocar que <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madridmemata.es\/2012\/05\/jjoo-coste-ruina-madrid-2020\/\">nos hundamos<\/a> un poco m\u00e1s en el <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.15m.cc\/wiki\/Lista_de_recortes\">abismo <\/a>del d\u00e9ficit presupuestario que ya est\u00e1 concluyendo en <a href=\"http:\/\/ccaa.elpais.com\/ccaa\/2012\/11\/19\/madrid\/1353360549_622097.html\">preocupantes recortes<\/a> en <a href=\"http:\/\/cultura.elpais.com\/cultura\/2012\/09\/26\/actualidad\/1348692120_825811.html\">cultura<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redaccionaula-urjc.es\/mostoles\/%E2%80%9Clos-recortes-en-sanidad-no-deber%C3%AD-perjudicar-las-prestaciones-en-salud%E2%80%9D\">sanidad<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madridiario.es\/2012\/Julio\/educacion\/edu_educacion\/219148\/recortes-educacion-madrid-subida-tasas-universitarias-guarderias-ratio-profesores.html\">educaci\u00f3n<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Para llevar a cabo la protesta, nos dirigimos a un bien conocido parque, abandonado durante su construcci\u00f3n, y que amenazan con reconvertir en equipamiento ol\u00edmpico quit\u00e1ndoselo a los vecinos, y que seguro, una vez terminado el evento, languidecer\u00e1 como el resto de\u00a0 infraestructuras ya construidas, que ahora se encuentran <a href=\"http:\/\/madrilonia.org\/2012\/02\/el-proyecto-de-madrid-2020-costara-once-millones-a-la-ciudad\/\">infrautilizadas<\/a>, por no decir abandonadas.<\/p>\n<p>Durante un mes, estuvimos recopilando botellas de cristal, recicladas de bares pr\u00f3ximos a nuestras casas, hasta conseguir unas 500 unidades que limpiamos de etiquetas y preparamos cuidadosamente, con la intenci\u00f3n de darles el aspecto de amenazadores <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/C%C3%B3ctel_molotov\">c\u00f3cteles molotov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestra instalaci\u00f3n <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u00ab<strong>Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos<\/strong><strong> como estrategia de destrucci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00bb <\/span>se instal\u00f3 la noche del 18 de marzo, y consisti\u00f3 en la creaci\u00f3n de los 5 aros, de 2 metros de di\u00e1metro, dibujados con botellas\/c\u00f3cteles, en las que el combustible se sustituy\u00f3 por agua coloreada y la mecha prendi\u00f3, no con peligroso fuego, sino con c\u00e1lida luz led.<\/p>\n<p>Y ah\u00ed dejamos la pieza, con la intenci\u00f3n de que la visita ol\u00edmpica se topara con ella a lo largo de su recorrido de inspecci\u00f3n. No estamos seguros si lo conseguimos pero a los pocos d\u00edas fuimos a comprobar si a\u00fan segu\u00eda para retirarla, y ya no quedaba rastro de ella&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Nos preguntamos si nuestros dirigentes se habr\u00e1n parado a pensar que con todos los sacrificios presupuestarios que estaremos obligados a asumir para cubrir las exigencias del COI, probablemente tendremos costosas infraestructuras, pero no habr\u00e1 deportistas capacitados para competir en ellas, ya que las futuras generaciones no tendr\u00e1n ni una educaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica, ni salud, ni dinero, para prepararse o habr\u00e1n tenido que marcharse fuera de Espa\u00f1a, para poder desarrollarse como profesionales de \u00e9lite&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Ojal\u00e1 este megal\u00f3mano evento finalmente no tenga lugar en nuestra querida ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a nuestros amigos de La Selva, Bufalino, Passenger, Mezklum, Hawai, Portomar\u00edn, por guardarnos sus botellas, y a Li\u00e9vana y Alex que estuvieron ayud\u00e1ndonos durante la complicada instalaci\u00f3n, en la que adem\u00e1s de pasar un mes preparando el material, nos oblig\u00f3 a permanecer 6 horas a la intemperie, en una fr\u00eda y h\u00fameda noche del mes de marzo.<\/p>\n<p>Las im\u00e1genes y el video son, como siempre, de <a href=\"http:\/\/gustavosanabria.com\/\">Gustavo Sanabria<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tiempo de montaje: 20 horas.<br \/>\nDa\u00f1os ocasionados: 0.<br \/>\nPermanencia de la intervenci\u00f3n: \u00bf?.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Taking advantage of the\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.europapress.es\/deportes\/olimpiadas-00169\/noticia-blanco-coi-no-corre-ningun-riesgo-economico-si-da-juegos-madrid-20130320191857.html\">International Olympic Commitee visit<\/a> to Madrid, to evaluate the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.publico.es\/deportes\/452223\/el-coi-visita-madrid-entre-huelgas-y-protestas\"> \u201csituation\u201d <\/a>of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebelion.org\/noticia.php?id=165520\">our<\/a> city as a candidate to organize the 2020 Games, we went out into the street with our lights, to demonstrate our opposition to becoming the headquarters of these <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elconfidencial.com\/espana\/2013\/03\/24\/seis-razones-de-peso-por-las-que-madrid-no-deberia-organizar-los-juegos-olimpicos-117444\/\">event of shame<\/a>, that not only are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madridmemata.es\/2012\/05\/jjoo-coste-ruina-madrid-2020\/\">not going to bring about any economic benefit<\/a> to the citizens, (except for the construction industry), but are also going to cause us to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madridmemata.es\/2012\/05\/jjoo-coste-ruina-madrid-2020\/\">sink<\/a> a little further into the <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.15m.cc\/wiki\/Lista_de_recortes\">abyss <\/a> of the budget deficit that is already causing <a href=\"http:\/\/ccaa.elpais.com\/ccaa\/2012\/11\/19\/madrid\/1353360549_622097.html\">worrying cuts<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/cultura.elpais.com\/cultura\/2012\/09\/26\/actualidad\/1348692120_825811.html\">culture<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redaccionaula-urjc.es\/mostoles\/%E2%80%9Clos-recortes-en-sanidad-no-deber%C3%AD-perjudicar-las-prestaciones-en-salud%E2%80%9D\">health<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madridiario.es\/2012\/Julio\/educacion\/edu_educacion\/219148\/recortes-educacion-madrid-subida-tasas-universitarias-guarderias-ratio-profesores.html\">education<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>To carry out the protest, we headed to a well known park, abandoned during its construction, and that they are proposing to reconvert into an Olympic site taking it away from the citizens, and which will surely, once the event has finished, will languish like the rest of the already constructed infrastructure, which is now <a href=\"http:\/\/madrilonia.org\/2012\/02\/el-proyecto-de-madrid-2020-costara-once-millones-a-la-ciudad\/\">underused<\/a>, so as not to say abandoned..<\/p>\n<p>For a month, we collected glass bottles, recycled from bars close to our houses, until we had about 500 units which we cleaned of labels and carefully prepared, with the intention of giving them the appearance of menacing <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/C%25C3%25B3ctel_molotov\">Molotov cocktails<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our installation <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u201c<strong>Olympic Games as a strategy for destruction<\/strong>\u201d<\/span> was carried out on the night of March 18th, and consisted of the creation of the 5 rings, 2 meters in diameter, made up of bottles\/cocktails, in which the fuel was replaced with colored water and the wick burned, not with dangerous fire, but with the warm light of an LED.<\/p>\n<p>And there we left the piece, with the intention that the Olympic visitors would come across it during their inspection tour.
