Seguimos interesados por las obras, que tienen Madrid inmersa en una capa de polvo, cascotes de cemento y asfalto, m\u00e1quinas, vallas y todo tipo de mobiliario urbano, disperso por aqu\u00ed y por all\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Hoy volvemos a poner nuestra atenci\u00f3n en los tubos que conducen el tendido el\u00e9ctrico bajo el asfalto. Ya los hab\u00edamos intervenido<\/a>, una noche que los encontramos apilados en grandes montones, a la espera de ser colocados en las zanjas correspondientes y la semana pasada, ya sepultados, los retomamos como soporte para nuestras luces.<\/p>\n

Esta vez nos metimos en las obras de Chueca, para ser m\u00e1s exactos, en la calle Augusto Figuer\u00f3a, donde pudimos disfrutar de varios manojos de estos mismos tubos, que sobresal\u00edan de un asfalto reci\u00e9n echado.<\/p>\n

A esta intervenci\u00f3n la llamamos, Museo de esculturas urbanas al aire libre<\/span> y tuvo lugar la madrugada del 9 de junio en la reci\u00e9n peatonalizada calle de Fuencarral…<\/p>\n

Ese d\u00eda descubrimos que, encerradas tras vallas de obras, se escond\u00eda un mundo de esculturas, creadas por creativos operarios de ayuntamiento, a las que s\u00f3lo faltaban nuestras luces para convertirse en aut\u00e9nticos monumentos al espacio p\u00fablico en construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

We are still interested in the street works which cover Madrid with a thick layer of dust, cement debris and tar, diggers, rollers, cranes, and also all kind of street furniture, here and there, and everywhere.<\/span>

Today we turn our attention to the pipes that protect the electrical wires under the streets. We had already used them before when we found a pile of them in separate groups, and awaiting their final destination in the trenches. Last week, already buried, we reused them as light holders.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>
This time around, we made an incursion in the street works in Chueca, to be precise in Alberto Figueroa street. We managed to enjoy the sight of several bunches of pipes which stood out of the new asphalted road.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>
This installation was called Museum of open-air urban sculptures<\/span> and took place on 9 June in the early morning in Fuencarral street which has become a pedestrian-friendly area. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span>
On that day we discovered that, beyond the works fences, lay a whole world of sculptures, created by the imaginative town council workmen. What was only missing were our lights just to finish them off and turn them into real monuments to public areas under construction. <\/span>
<\/span>
