Representaci\u00f3n de una idea recurrente en nuestro trabajo urbano: por m\u00e1s que se empe\u00f1en en cubrir el espacio p\u00fablico con capas y m\u00e1s capas de cemento y cristal, siempre habr\u00e1 un resquicio por el que la naturaleza tratar\u00e1 de abrirse paso y reconquistar lo que una vez le perteneci\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Nuestra instalaci\u00f3n, Cristal vegetal <\/span>no tiene nada que ver con las navidades, es s\u00f3lo una puesta en escena de esta idea. Para ello nos centramos en esos feos ascensores de cristal, que Metro de Madrid ha instalado por toda la ciudad.<\/p>\n

Elegimos Plaza de Espa\u00f1a y Saenz de Baranda, e injertamos nuestras luces en ramas de \u00e1rboles reci\u00e9n podados, luego las plantamos, intentando que mezclaran su savia, a\u00fan viva, con el fr\u00edo, opaco y antiest\u00e9tico cristal.<\/p>\n

La instalaci\u00f3n tuvo lugar el mi\u00e9rcoles 2 y el viernes 4 de diciembre y como siempre Gustavo Sanabria<\/a> estuvo con nosotros, haciendo las fotos, a pesar del fr\u00edo, a pesar de la hora.<\/p>\n

The representation of a recurring idea in our urban work: the more we insist on covering public spaces with layers and more layers of concrete and glass, there will always be a crack which natur can break through and reclain what once belonged to it.<\/span>
<\/span>
Our installation, Glass Plant<\/span> has nothing to do with Christmas, it is only a demonstration of this idea. To do this we focused on the ugly glass lifts that Metro Madrid has installed throughout the city.<\/span><\/p>\n

We chose Plaza de Espa\u00f1a and Sainz de Baranda, where we inserted our lights into the fres<\/p>\n

hly pruned cuttings, then the plants themselves, trying to mingle the sap with the cold, opaque , unsightly glass. <\/span><\/p>\n

The installation took place on Wednesday the 2nd and Friday the 4th of December, and as always Gustavo Sanabria was with us, taking the photos, in spite of the cold, in spite of the hour. <\/span><\/p>\n
