Nuestro deseo es llevar a cabo una instalaci\u00f3n lum\u00ednica ef\u00edmera, en el entorno urbano de la ciudad de Elche para que los vecinos interact\u00faen con ella.<\/p>\n

Con nuestra instalaci\u00f3n Suavizando el gris urbano<\/span> queremos dar confort a un espacio p\u00fablico, sustituyendo el color gris, tan com\u00fan, por un blanco y mullido espacio en el que los vecinos puedan jugar y relajarse, como si estuvieran tumbados en una inmensa cama luminosa.<\/p>\n

Para ello forraremos completamente una plaza c\u00e9ntrica de Elche con edredones, en los que habremos insertado gran cantidad de puntos de luz, para que quede iluminado por la noche.<\/p>\n

Los elementos de mobiliario p\u00fablico que existen en la plaza tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1n cubiertos, papeleras, troncos de \u00e1rbol, sem\u00e1foros, bancos, fuentes\u2026 no dejando que nada duro e incomodo quede a la vista.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de los edredones, que ir\u00e1n fijados al suelo, lo llenaremos todo de cojines luminosos, para que los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os jueguen y organicen batallas y los mayores se pongan c\u00f3modos y disfruten del espacio.<\/p>\n

Project for the L’ Escorxador<\/a><\/span> Centro de Cultura Contempor\u00e1nea in Elche.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our desire is to carry out a short-lived luminous installation, in the urban environment of the city of Elche which the inhabitants can interact with. <\/span><\/p>\n

With our installation Softening the urban gray<\/span> we want to bring comfort to a public space, substituting the ever so common gray color, with a white, fluffy space where the inhabitants can play and relax, as if they were lying on a huge illuminated bed. <\/span><\/p>\n

In order to do this, we will completely cover the central plaza of Elche with quilts, in which we will have inserted a large number of light points, so that it stays illuminated for the night. <\/span><\/p>\n

The public fixtures which exist in the plaza will also be covered, garbage cans, tree trunks, traffic lights, benches, fountains\u2026 so that nothing hard or uncomfortable remains in view. <\/span><\/p>\n

Besides the quilts, which will be fixed to the ground, it will be filled with illuminated cushions, so that the youngest may play and organize battles and the elderly can make themselves comfortable and enjoy the space. <\/span><\/p>\n
