Technology is not our thing. No matter how hard we try, we cannot come up with a really good idea involving technology.

So we’ll continue thinking about those things around us that awake deep feelings in us.

We are back with this idea for a piece called Hanging Landscapes. It originates from such  commonplace elements as bedsheets. They have allowed us to dream from home during this lockdown year. They have taken us to places when this was not possible.

Our imagination has made us picture a huge clotheshorse with white bedsheets hanging in a nocturnal landscape. They are all illuminated and swayed by the wind. We can see them well arranged, although they are free to float. There’s room between them so that we can walk through them in order to feel their proximity and their clean smell.

We would hang them in a landscape deteriorated by the action of man or perhaps on a street in a big city that is normally invaded by traffic. We certainly think that, by means of the white cotton and the light, we would improve the perception of the space and take visitors to those times when nature was kinder and bedsheets were whitened by the sun as the swung in the wind.

Theo Angelopoulos envisioned this idea for us and we have adapted it to our illuminated approach.

We hope we can make it happen soon.
